Over the weekend, Ghanaian singer, Becca, had her annual Becca Girl Talk concert at the National Theater. The event was well organised; no hitches, great performances, and no time was wasted in starting the show. This was a step up from last year's show which was very poorly executed.
The concert which started around 10pm, had the likes of prince David Osei passing through with the welcome address, Nana Ama McBrown performing to Daddy Lumba's ''Yentie Obia'', which set the bar for all the performances that night.
Mzbel and Akosua Agyepong joined Becca on stage to perform their popular songs which got the crowd hyped. Not to be outdone by their female counterparts, the men came out with guns blazing during their performances to give the audiences excellence. Afriyie performed ''Love Of My Life'', Akwaboah performed as well as Kwabena Kwabena, who performed ''U Lied To Me'' with Becca.
Becca also gave an audience member the chance to propose to his girlfriend. Dominic, the lucky gentleman, got on one knee and asked his woman to marry him while Kwabena Kwabena sang one of his love songs , with the help of Afriyie and Akwaboah. The lucky lady who couldn't help but cry, hugged her man til the song died off.
Other surprises included Tiffany, who came on stage to dance ''Adowa'', with Efya in the background singing along. Apparently, the crowd loved Tiffany's dance moves and kept cheering her on. Other artists who performed that night included Nacy, No Tribe, AK Songstress, E.L. , Trigmatic and others.
Congratulations to Becca on a successful event.
