Pay Up And I Stay or I Go And You Still Pay Up- Lil Wayne To Birdman

Wasn’t it just a couple days back that I told you Wayne was suing his business partner for breach of contract and for $8 million? Yes, that was not a fabricated story, matter of fact, there is more to this fall out and you know am gon let that tea spill!

Well, according to TMZ, the $8 million was a promise Birdman aka Baby, made Wayne back in 2013 to record ‘Tha Carter V’ and an additional $2 million when he is done. In actuality, he is suing Birdman for $51 million, asking for a multi-million dollar advance, and part ownership of all Young Money recordings as well as split copyright ownership of all Young Money recordings. All these, and both catalogs of Nicki Minaj and Drake.

Sources say that pressure is being mounted on Cash Money by Universal Records to pay Wayne the initial $10 million, which I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that he is not going to do, but I digress. According to industry experts, Birdman paying the money will guarantee that Wayne stays on as an artist of Cash Money and will have no base for a lawsuit. However, the release of Wayne’s album is still in the discretion of Birdman; whenever he wants to release it.

Birdman probably be calculating his loss already, if it is to be taken that he will pay the $51 million.

This fight seems to be getting messier with each passing day.

Fix it, Lord!

What do you guys think?
