Pope Skinny, Ghanaian Hiplife artiste, has rubbished claims that all musicians in Ghana smoke weed before performing.
In an interview with Mic Gizo on the “Showbiz Today” show on Hitz FM, Pope Skinny said that he’d rather smoke shisha.
“I do not take any hard drug, I only smoke shisha”, the rapper said.
Shisha, is also known as hookah. It is an Arabic water pipe through which tobacco mixed with molasses and flavour extract is smoked.
According to the rapper, most musicians cannot perform without smoking marijuana but he doesn’t smoke any hard drug or even take alcohol.
How is hookah/shisha different from smoking weed tho? The purpose is the same- get high.
Don’t defend ish like this. The young ones look up to you, and would def think smoking shisha is OK, which in truth, is not.
