If there is one thing that is certain about Mzbel, she basks in controversy. The 'I b sixteen years' singer in an interview with Stacey Amoateng on Restoration, came out to say she doesn't believe in the story of Jesus Christ. She went ahead to say that it was a ruse by the white people used to brainwash Africans in other to colonise us. She has since been fighting off backlashes from the public, and in some instances, even used cursed words to defend herself.
“So u know, I believe in God… The God of Isreal, The God of Moses, The God of David, The God of Abraham, The God of Jacob etc… I don’t believe in the story of Christ, Yes I don’t and I don’t mean to offend anyone, it makes absolutely no sense to think that the same people that came to colonise us under very savage conditions will also show us a saviour to redeem us… If u will be patient enough to do your own historical research, u will realise that this whole story of Christ is to serve the purpose of softening the people that Europe wanted to enslave and colonise.
