Halle Berry's ex Gabriel Aubry and the Oscar award winning actress are headed to court again. this time round, Gabriel is fighting for his right to be given the $16k in child support money that Halle Berry is contesting. the model believes that he deserves $16k a month since he cannot get a job.
He claims that ever since the altercation between he and Olivier Martinez, Halle's current beau, he has found it difficult to land any modelling contract. Gabriel , who is claiming that it took him 6 months to heal from the incident, whereas TMZ has pictures of him looking fine within 6 weeks of the fight says that he needs that money to be able to cater to his and Halle's daughter and maintain his lifestyle. Halle responded with ''there is no case, no law, no logic that says a healthy, active man gets to simply live off child support that the wealthier mother earns.''
Halle's lawyer claims that Gabriel uses the money for his own personal needs; $740 a month for his fitness, $940 for his clothing, $700 a month for his health insurance, $1,975 for his car insurance and expenses and $1,100 a month in furniture and electronics. Nahla, the daughter of Halle and Gabriel, only get to use $675 a month on clothes. If all these expenses are added up, it will be realised that, $16k is an outrageous amount of money for child support, if all that the child needs is under 1k.
