KWAW DENIED BAIL AGAIN
Kwaw Kese has failed to secure bail at the Kumasi High Court on medical grounds. Kwaw Kese was discharged from the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital after he was rushed there Thursday night over ill health. Lawyers of the embattled musician Friday filed a motion for bail at the High Court after the Circuit Court refused their initial bail plea.

But their case was thrown out by Justice Edward Apenkwa after lawyer for the boss of ‘Mad Time’ Entertainment failed to produce a medical report to support the claims that his client is ill and must be granted bail.Kwaw Kese is on remand for smoking weed in public.
Meanwhile, the narcotic substance suspected to have been smoked by the embattled hiplife artist has tested positive for Indian hemp. The forensic report of the test result on the substance was disclosed in an open court today by the Police prosecutor, Richard Where.There had been confusion over what substance the remanded hiplife artiste actually abused leading to his arrest.

Kwaw Kese is on remand for smoking weed in public in Kumasi in the Ashanti region. His case at the Circuit Court has been adjourned to December 22. The “Man insane” is likely to serve a maximum of 11 years in jail should he be found guilty.

SOUTH AFRICA WINS MISS WORLD, GHANA MADE TOP 25
South African African beauty,  Rolene Strauss has won the title of Miss World 2014, taking the reins from Miss World 2013, the Philippines’ own Megan Young. Second place went to Hungary, 3rd place to the United States.This year’s winner is a 4th-year medical student and describes herself as having a “wild South African heart.”
Meanwhile Ghana made it into the Quarter Finals (TOP 25). Nadia Ntanu, the country’s representative at this year’s finals, gave a good account of herself by making it into the TOP 25, out of a list of 122. But in the end, it was South Africa, who gave Africa her second biggest win after Darego Agbani in 2001.

One of the highlights of the evening came when the candidates surprised Beauty With a Purpose founder and Miss World chair Julia Morley with a tribute in the form of a song number. She was then greeted by Miss World 1994, Bollywood royalty Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Miss World 1953 Denise Perrier, and Miss World 2013 Megan Young


OVATION CHRISTMAS CAROL AND AWARDS NIGHT
Ovation International Magazine hosted its second ‘Ovation Carol & Awards’ in on Saturday night and it will surely be remembered by patrons who were thrilled to a night of music, fashion and comedy. The event, which was the 7th Edition of the special Christmas charity ball, featured performances by the wonderful Winneba Youth Choir, Stephanie Benson, Efya, Wiyaala, Trigmatic, MzVee, Sean Tizzle, No Tribe and more. Ice prince brought on sarkodie which was a surprise and of the highlight of the evening for the audience. The event which took place at the State Banquet Hall under the theme, ‘It’s all about hope’ was hosted Kofi Okyere Darko (KOD) and Sika Osei. Special awards were given:

Other highlights included performances from veteran afro-fusion highlife legend, Gyedu Blay Ambolley, US-based Nigerian Opera singer, Abiodun Koya as well as and a runway presentation by top Nigerian fashion designer, Mudi.



Kafui Danku revealed some interesting quick facts about herself on Pulse TV including things she cannot live without. The things she can’t live without are gum, lip gloss, cars, and wigs.
She is also a big fan of StoneBwoy’s music as three out of her five favorite songs have Stonebwoy.
Touching on the industry she belong to the Actress and Producer said her favorite actors and actress include Genevieve Nnaji, Adjetey Anang, Jackie Appiah, Majid Michel, Nana Ama McBrown, Alex Ebuka and her friend Salma Mumuni.
