When J.Cole hit the big screens with his rap career, I was skeptical...I mean I know his deep and all, but at that point he looked like a slow person to me. How wrong I am, and he proved me wrong yet again with the release of his new album '' Forest Hill Drive''. He performed the song ''Be Free'' of off his latest album on David Letterman last night, which was filled with emotions just beyond anything I've heard from this rapper.
To make it more triumphant, he has sold over 300,000 copies in less than a week and this could help him snag his third #1 on the Billboard 200 charts. #winning
This particular track was influenced by the killing of Mike Brown.
Another interesting fact, he dropped this album with little to no promo at all, he was just relying on his talents and his fans, and I must say, they didn't disappoint.
