2Chainz Wants to Be Mayor

How would you react if you heard that 2Chainz was running for Mayor? I couldn’t believe my eyes when I read that the ‘Hair Weave Killer’ rapper would run for mayor in his hometown of College Park, Georgia.

In an interview with XXL, the rapper dropped the news “I’m a musician, not a politician,” he said. “I’m supposed to be running for mayor in College Park. I got everybody wishing. I’m really gonna do this little mayor thing in College Park. I’m just trying to make sure I have the right qualifications.”

He made his political debut with the world when he engaged in a heated debate with HLN’s commentator, Nancy Grace, over the topic of weed legalization. Much to many people’s disbelief, 2 Chainz was relentless against Grace’s slick verbals and was crowned victorious in the battle. He talks about how he probably won’t do another battle with her but he has received a lot of love since the debate.

“I moved on, man,” 2 Chainz told XXL. “I don’t know what’s going on up there. I know I’ve been getting a lot of praise and everything. I definitely appreciate the love that came behind me.”

Fun facts about 2chainz for those of us who think he is just another delusional rapper;
He is a graduate from Alabama State University with a 4.0 GPA as well as graduating second in his high school class.

So yeah, he is not a knucklehead just cause he is a rapper, and don’t be judging people.
